Viatek Products - Samba Hair Remover - Review & Giveaway

Viatek Consumer Products Group is a world leader in developing and marketing innovative products. Viatek has created the Samba and Pearl Hair Removers as well as Candle Sensations, Plush Pals, The Life Juicer, and more. By partnering up with distributors all over the globe such as Amazon.com, QVC, Walmart, Walgreens, and more, Viatek products are easy to find.
Viatek sent me the Samba Hair Remover to review. This device is available in 5 different colors and sells for $179.99 on the Viatek website. When ordering on the website, you are also able to purchase insurance to protect your device for 2 years.
The Samba Hair Remover answers the demand for easy, safe, and painless hair removal at home. By utilizing revolutionary technology to remove unwanted hair from the body, the Samba Hair Remover truly eliminates the need for harsh chemicals, sticky messes, and expensive office visits. Professional, quality results can be achieved on all hair and skin types in the comfort of your home at a fraction of the price of other methods.
The Samba Hair Remover can be used on the face, legs, bikini line and more. Specialized attachments like the Maxi Guide, perfect for arms and legs, and the Micro Guide, great for sensitive areas, give it a clear advantage over "one size fits all" treatment methods.
As the Samba glides across the skin, thermotransmitters radiate heat down into the hair follicle, crystalizing the hair. The hair can then be buffed away with the Samba buffer pad. Continuous slowing of hair growth promotes longer lasting results and does not irritate the skin. Unlike waxing that tears off the first layer of the epidermis, the Samba gently glides across skin and removes hair painlessly and effortlessly. Using the built-in bi-directional optical sensor, the Samba removes hair in two directions instead of one.

For smoother, healthier looking skin, they recommend applying the Samba Smoothing Serum or a gentle moisturizer after each treatment.
The Samba Hair Remover Kit comes with everything you need to get started. They also offer various replacement products.
It includes:
Samba Hair Remover Device
1 Large Tip (Maxi Glide)
1 Small Tip (Micro Glide)
1 Large Buffer (w/2 Pads)
1 Small Buffer (w/2 Pads)
Soothing Serum
Cleaning Brush
Bonus Travel Bag
I chose the pink color Samba which is a nice light blush pink. Very girly.  It fits right in the palm of my hand and is about the size of an older cellphone. On the face of the device you will find an on/off button and 3 lights.
It's about half an inch wide so it's easy to grip, move, and change angles while holding it.
When you remove the protective cap from the device you will see a silver roller and 2 prongs.
The tips slide right onto the 2 prongs in just a few seconds so it's easy to change tips as needed.
See that very thin wire going across the tip? That is what makes contact with the hair to crystallize it.
To use the Samba, simply press the button until the blue light comes on then apply to the hair at a 90 degree angle and glide gently over the hair you wish to remove. Feel free to move the device in either direction or just one direction. Whatever feels most comfortable for you. It does take some practice and time to get used to. Keep in mind, at first treatment may produce a burning smell when the hair is crystallized. Over time, this will decrease as the amount of hair decreases.

To avoid the smell, I recommend shaving a few days before removing hair. The ideal length of hair to treat is 1-3mm. 1 mm is about the same thickness as a penny.
Always use the buffer on the treated area after each use and be sure to moisturize with the included soothing serum for best results.
The included travel bag is really handy for keeping everything together and could easily be tossed in a travel bag for on-the-go use.

My favorite product is the Samba Hair Remover but the Viatek Car Seat Warmer also caught my eye. It has been a cold winter for everyone, even us here in Ga. A warm car seat makes a car ride much more enjoyable when you have back or neck injuries.

The Super Bark Stop, we just got a dog from the pound and she barks like crazy. This would be a good way. I haven't found anything I like so far that won't hurt her, so we just let her bark. lol
